Meet Denise

Ready to serve

Denise Alvine Chapman is a long-term member of the Loveland community with strong ties to child development and education. Chapman is a pro-public education candidate who pledges to work for TSD students and employees. Her focus will be on improving educational outcomes across all student groups, addressing the most pressing barriers to student success, and making TSD an employer of choice in the community.

 

Chapman has been intricately tied to the Loveland and TSD communities for most of her life. She is a Loveland High School graduate with two children who are TSD graduates and two children who are currently TSD students, plus a father and sister with a combined 61 years of service in TSD. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State in Human Development and Family Studies, a Master of Science degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Purdue University, and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Purdue University.

 

Chapman works in IT at Keysight Technologies and has extensive volunteer involvement including with the United Way of Larimer County, Project Self-Sufficiency of Northern Colorado, Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families, and the Larimer Humane Society. Denise and her husband Rick have been married for twenty years; they enjoy going to their four young adults' activities, mountain biking, fostering kittens, and home improvement projects.
